Columbus County Schools

Columbus County Schools strives to create respectful, responsible adults, which requires all school community stakeholders to provide our children with the skills and attitudes necessary to succeed not only in today’s world, but also in the world of tomorrow.  Developing meaningful partnerships with the private and public sector, including local businesses, faith-based organizations, civic groups, and other patrons of education, is vital for success.

Excellence in the business world can only be achieved as a result of excellence in education.  We are committed to joining forces with the members of our local businesses and industries as we make every effort to instill in students the academic and social skills essential for responsible and productive citizenship in a global society.  The formation of strong partnerships will insure we meet the needs of the WHOLE child.  All aspects emotional, social, physical, and intellectual must be fulfilled if a child is to become successful in education, the workplace and life.

The interdependence of the two worlds of education and business are indelibly entwined.  We are both dedicated to our most precious resource-the children of Columbus County.
