Tabor City Jellystone Park is a family campground and RV park. It’s a great destination for relaxing and having fun with friends and family. Our first rate amenities include free wi-fi, accommodations, and activities for the whole family.
What inspired you to open a camping resort and how did you make it happen?
The decision to open a camp resort in Tabor City was a joint one by my brother, Joey and I, after we had closed our family tobacco auction markets. The farm economy was seeing drastic changes to direct marketing of the product. We decided to use our property as a place for families to go to experience a clean, safe environment for family time together.
What makes Columbus County a wonderful place to fulfill this dream of yours?
Columbus County is a great place for our resort because we are near so many natural attractions with the rivers and ocean nearby. People from all over America are just as interested in our area as they would be the NE or SW.
What’s been the most satisfying aspect of this venture for you?
The most satisfying aspect has been that everyday I go to work on my family farm with my sons and family and have made thousands of friends and customers.
What is your favorite restaurant and meal in Columbus County?
My favorite restaurant and meal is right here in our campstore grill!
What are some of your favorite things to do in Columbus County?
Columbus county has so much naturally to offer with our rivers ( Lumber and Waccamaw) and forests. I love to hunt, fish, and explore trails and outdoors.
